Low Back Pain

Common Causes

If you have ever experienced low back pain, then you know how it can negatively impact your life. You’re not alone! One of the top reasons patients seek out chiropractic care is for relief from low back pain. Low back pain can present itself for many reasons. These days, many of us spend a large portion of our day sitting. Sitting without proper posture can increase low back pain and potentially cause an injury over time. Those who sit during the work day are not the only ones at risk. People who work manual labor jobs are also likely to experience low back pain or an injury at some point (or multiple times) in their life. Lifting heavy objects improperly is a common cause of low back injuries. Jobs that require prolonged periods of standing also create risk for low back injuries. People may experience constant pain or discomfort, and some may have flare ups from time to time. Regardless of the intensity or frequency of the pain, chiropractic care is a viable option for treating these symptoms and getting to the root of the cause of the discomfort.

“Three words describe the team – Caring, passionate and successful. Dr. Wall took me in when I was walking crooked, couldn’t stand upright and was in excruciating pain. With a week to go before I was in my best friend’s wedding, I didn’t think there was any way I could stand (let alone dance) but he took me in and adjusted his treatment plan to successfully get me out on the dance floor. My pain levels went from 9s and 8s to 4s and 5s within that week (and got me on the dance floor)!
Every time I enter the office, I am greeted by name and with smiles. I would recommend Dr. Wall to anyone who has pain. I’m an active 27 year old and I’m looking forward to writing another review after he has resolved my issues completely….on a more normal timeline!”

Benefits of Chiropractic Care on Low Back

The low back plays a key role in providing support, stability, strength, and flexibility to your upper body, so if the low back experiences an injury, it is very noticeable to the rest of your body. The pain can present itself in various ways such as a constant dull pain, sudden sharp pain, burning or spasming sensations, or aches that can be mild or intense. Those who experience low back pain or injuries to the low back may have difficulty sitting, standing, bending, or walking. This can have a highly negative impact! Receiving chiropractic adjustments for low back pain can reduce inflammation, increase mobility, and improve the function of the joints and nerves.
