Dr. Shane Morrison grew up in an allopathic family, so he didn’t receive chiropractic care for the first time until age 22. His experience as a patient and his compassion for helping others is what drew him toward the profession of chiropractic initially, and after watching an online video of a Gonstead doctor who transformed a patient’s life, he felt ready to take a leap of faith into the chiropractic profession.
After graduating with a BS in Kinesiology from University of Texas at Tyler, he began his dedication to chiropractic. During his studies, Dr. Morrison invested three years in extracurricular activities to enhance his Gonstead training through Gonstead seminars, Gonstead Club, and GAP Gonstead advanced program under Gonstead diplomat. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX, and is also certified in Werking Advanced Extremities.
Dr. Morrison moved to Denver in early 2019. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, fishing, hiking, working out, and hanging with his golden-doodle pup, Sweety.

Tristan’s journey to healing is a very personal one. In 2011 he moved from Louisiana to Denver and found the motivation to make a drastic life change and lost 122lbs in six months. He was so inspired by the way his personal trainer motivated him, that he decided to become a personal trainer himself so he could help change lives, too. This new-found drive led him to redirect his educational path from pharmacy to nutrition.
While at school, Tristan played semi-professional football but sustained damage to his left shoulder after taking a hit during a game in South Dakota. This left him unable to use his left arm for three months during rehab, making him sidelined indefinitely. Tristan began to coach the team, and during that time, they brought on a massage therapist for the team. It was through her help that Tristan was finally able to get back on the field.
After his discovery that massage can be used to heal as more than just a relaxation tool, Tristan felt he had a new calling. He set out to help people see the benefits of being proactive with their healthcare rather than reactive. His goal was, and still is, to use his skills as a corrective personal trainer in conjunction with nutritional guidance and a healing touch. Tristan loves having the opportunity to work with the doctors at Gonstead Family Chiropractic to be a part of changing lives for the better!
